District Camp Badge Competition 2026
Calling all creative minds across North Hambleton District!
North Hambleton District Scouts are excited to invite young people from right across the District to take part in a brand-new District Camp Badge Design Competition, members from every section are encouraged to get involved and show off their creativity!
This special competition will result in the creation of the District’s first official Scout Camp Badge, celebrating a landmark year for Scouting as Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs mark their milestone birthdays, the winning design will be professionally embroidered and worn with pride by members during our District Camp celebrations, a fantastic opportunity to leave a lasting mark on District Scouting history.
The competition is open to Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers, and we’d love to see entries from all age groups, designs should capture the spirit of Scouting, with inspiration drawn from themes such as adventure, camping, friendship, teamwork and the great outdoors, entrants are encouraged to keep designs simple, bold and clear, ensuring they translate well into an embroidered badge.
- Entries must be submitted by 12:00 midnight on 30th April 2026.
- The winning design will be announced during the week commencing 11th May 2026.
This is a brilliant chance for young people to be creative, get involved in District activities, and see their ideas come to life in a way that will be remembered for years to come.
