Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do in North Hambleton District Scouts. From running weekly meetings to organising camps and adventures, our incredible adult volunteers make it all happen, they give their time, skills, and enthusiasm to help young people gain confidence, make friends, and develop skills for life.
There’s a volunteering role for everyone, whether it’s leading a section, managing equipment, helping at events, or supporting behind the scenes. Some adults volunteer every week, others help occasionally when they can, every contribution makes a difference.
Our volunteers help young people discover the best of themselves, by building dens, lighting campfires, tackling challenges, and learning to work as a team. Along the way, they learn new skills too, gain valuable experience, and make lifelong friends.
