NHDS Trustee Meeting

Date: 10th September 2026 Location: Teams Sections: Trustees

Our Scout Trustee Board exists to make sure North Hambleton District Scouts is safe, sustainable, and thriving for every young person and volunteer. It’s a team of committed adults who look after the “behind‑the‑scenes” essentials — from safeguarding and finances to property, governance, and long‑term planning — so our leaders can focus on delivering brilliant programme.

The Board’s purpose is simple: to ensure the charity is well‑run, legally compliant, financially secure, and always acting in the best interests of young people.

Trustees help shape the direction of the district, support volunteers, oversee risk and resources, and make sure we’re building a place where young people can belong, grow, and shine. Their decisions protect the future of Scouting locally and keep everything we do safe, transparent, and accountable.

It’s thoughtful, important work — and it underpins every adventure our young people enjoy.
