Got an Idea for Scouting in North Hambleton? Let’s Make It Happen!
Join Mark Turner (District Lead Volunteer) and Danielle Cutler (District Programme Team Leader) for our first District Events Ideas Call.
It’s a chance to come together, share ideas, hear what others are planning and help shape future opportunities across North Hambleton District Scouts!
Some of our best events start with a simple conversation, whether you’ve got a fully developed idea, the start of a plan, or you’d just like to help make great things happen, we’d love you to be part of it.
We’re proud to be a place to belong for everyone. By bringing our ideas together, we can create even more opportunities for young people to try something new, build confidence, make friends and gain skills for life. We can also explore new ways to support volunteers to learn, grow and connect across our District.
From camps, competitions and adventurous activities to community projects, social events and volunteer development opportunities, every idea is welcome. It doesn’t matter whether your idea is for one Section, several age groups or the whole District.
You don’t need to arrive with a finished plan. Whether you’re a Section Team Member, Team Leader, Trustee Board Member, Young Leader, Network member, occasional volunteer or supporter of Scouts, your ideas and experience matter.
Together, we can create even more opportunities for young people to find adventure, discover new skills and feel part of something bigger. At the same time, we can build a welcoming District where volunteers feel supported, connected and inspired to make a difference.
Come along, share your ideas and help shape what’s next for North Hambleton District Scouts.
You can join the meeting here today – we look forward to welcoming you, whether you’re full of ideas or simply keen to get involved, there’s a place for you in the conversation.
