Youth Lead — championing youth voice

As part of NHDS we are incredibly lucky to have Nikki as our Youth Lead, a role that sits right at the heart of what modern Scouting is all about. A Youth Lead isn’t just a title; it’s a commitment to making sure young people have a real voice, real influence, and real ownership in shaping the future of our District.

Nikki brings energy, clarity and a huge passion for empowering young people. She champions youth-shaped Scouting at every level, making sure our programmes, events and decisions reflect what young people actually want and need. Whether it’s amplifying youth voices in leadership conversations, supporting young people to take on meaningful roles, or helping sections build stronger youth-led practices, Nikki is there, encouraging, guiding and celebrating every step forward.
