Scout Network is for young adults aged 18 to 25 and offers flexible opportunities to stay involved in Scouting while shaping experiences around their interests, availability and ambitions. In North Hambleton District, Scout Network provides a supportive and inclusive space for young adults to connect, challenge themselves and continue developing skills for life.
Network members take part in a wide range of activities including adventure, expeditions, social events, skills development, volunteering and community action. Members are encouraged to take the lead in planning and delivering activities, developing leadership, teamwork, confidence and resilience. Network members can also work towards awards such as the King’s Scout Award and continue or complete the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
Scout Network is supported by volunteer leaders and the District, with a strong emphasis on member-led activity. North Hambleton District is committed to inclusion and accessibility and will make reasonable adjustments in line with Scouts UK policy to ensure all members can participate, contribute and achieve, while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
