Thank you for taking the time to visit us and for considering supporting Scouting in North Hambleton.
Every week across our District, dedicated volunteers give their time, skills and enthusiasm to help young people gain Skills for Life through adventure, teamwork and new experiences. Your support plays an important part in making this possible.
Every donation, large or small, makes a real difference. It can help us provide and maintain essential equipment such as tents, camping kit and activity resources. It can support the upkeep of our meeting places and outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain safe, welcoming and ready for adventure. It may also help us subsidise camps, expeditions and special events so that no young person misses out because of their financial circumstances.
Scouting is about so much more than activities. It’s about helping young people grow in confidence, resilience and independence. It’s about building friendships, developing leadership skills and encouraging young people to make a positive difference in their communities. It gives them the chance to try something new, step outside their comfort zone and discover what they are capable of achieving.
As Scouts looks towards its new A Place to Belong strategy, we want every young person to have access to a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where they can be themselves, feel valued and develop the skills they need to thrive. Your support helps us remove barriers to participation and ensures that more young people can benefit from everything Scouting has to offer.
We’re proud to be part of a movement that brings people together, strengthens communities and helps young people prepare for the future. Your generosity helps keep Scouting inclusive, accessible and inspiring for everyone.
On behalf of our young people, volunteers and local communities, thank you for your kindness and support.
